JOIN the Happy Hearts Fund Volunteer Team!

At Happy Hearts, your time, talent, work and heart go a long way. Every hour you spend as an HHF volunteer translates into the caring attention for a child or teen that has survived a natural disaster. It translates into rebuilding of the children’s life’s through education, IT opportunities and self-sustaining programs to guide them so they can be successful and strong, creating more viable communities that are empowered and independent.

The Happy Hearts Fund is first and foremost an organization focused on bettering the lives of children that have survived a natural disaster. As a volunteer, you can design a program brochure, help with “on the ground” projects, create resources to assist in an HHF sponsored project, serve at a special event, write web articles, help network HHF in your community, help out in the office, or be part of a group working on a special project.

No matter how you help, you'll make a big difference as you work with others to create a feeling of connectedness.

A volunteer at the Happy Hearts Fund is "anyone who willingly gives time to help in accomplishing the HHF mission." We have two categories for volunteers to choose from:

1. International Outreach Volunteers serve as a team with a focus to assist in the success of an HHF project. These volunteers have the option of (1) serving the long term goal of the project, (2) travel to an HHF destination in a group setting and serve for a ten-day to two-week period, or (3) serve as a support team member (assisting in the success of the traveling team).
2. Community Based Outreach Volunteers connect the Happy Hearts Fund into their community. There are a number of ways available to introduce HHF to your community including Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, and Youtube. Additional opportunities are available for volunteers to serve on the HHF team as a graphic designer, writer, and through campaign promotions.
