Happy Hearts Challenge
At the recent Forbes Under 30 event, HHF founder Petra Nemcova challenged YOU to share your heart with the world!
After announcing the Challenge, she snapped this selfie with Hugh Evans, cofounder of the Global Poverty Project, with whom she shared the stage.
According to research, the number of reported natural disasters has nearly tripled since 1980. A 320% increase in natural disasters is predicted in the next 20 years.
With the help of our supporters, we have built/rebuilt 92 school in 9 countries in less than 8 years — an extraordinary feat!
But when it comes to natural disasters we need to be proactive not reactive — we need to have everything in place so that we may help immediately after a natural disaster, not years later, which puts youths and economies at risk.
HOW YOU CAN HELP: TAKE THE CHALLENGE!
SHOW YOUR HEART
Snap a selfie with another person, both of you making half a heart with your hands and connecting them.
SHARE YOUR HEART
Share your pic on social media, and tag three more people to do the same.
OPEN YOUR HEART
Make a donation to Happy Hearts Fund and challenge the three people you tagged to match that donation, to bring hope, opportunity, and a safe place to get an education in areas affected by natural disasters. Then text: HEARTS to 85944 to donate $10 to HHF
